Business has been different and growing, since the boom of the internet age. Every company wants to go online and rightly so. There is a lucrative business opportunity, when one goes online. The simple reason for this is the comfort and ease of transactions. This mode also has its disadvantages and risks. But a risk is involved in any business! So, what does it take for a company to build its business online? To begin with, they need to be clear on which part of their business needs to go online. For instance, if it is merchandise, it needs to be clear as to whether the trading goes online or only the catalogs!
Once this is clear, they can decide on related items like payment gateway, contact details, write-up on the company, etc. Once this is finalized, they need to get someone to architect this portal. This someone should be able to decide and best arrange all these details in a layout that is attractive to the end user and lure them to visit this portal.

Gone are the days when all employees of a company were hired on rolls and had to mark his presence in a structure called office. This is a requirement that is not necessary in the present day. Today, it is sufficient if an 'employee' is contributing to work assigned to him/her. This can be from the comforts of their home. The trend is an increase in the number of work-from-home jobs, where the employee can stay at home and work for a company. The nature of such a job and the way such candidates are hired is a little different from a conventional recruitment.
Likewise, the procedure is different for a candidate to apply for such a job. The candidate's profile for such a job would vary a little from a regular profile. The reason being, in this kind of a job requirement, there is little or no scope of a personal face to face interaction. Instead, all communication and transactions happen over the internet. So, it is important that all the information you plan to give to an employer, you provide it in your profile. This does not mean that your profile should be dumped with data! No, instead you need to have it crisp, concise and yet highlight the right skill sets in your profile.
With the internet boom, an increasing number of companies are already online or are planning to go online. In this case, they look for people to help them out with their website design. To do this, they may or may not hire people for a typical office job, instead they look for virtual resumes, where people can work from home and still get the work done. This model works well for both the company and the candidate.
