List building involves way more than just collecting names and emails. Your list should be built on trust and quality content. This list will not only stick with you, it will buy from you!

I would like to touch on the basics of successful list building. The first thing is simple, over deliver! Your initial offer should be very low priced or even free, but have a value that will blow away your subscribers. This will open their eyes and they start to value you as a provider of useful information and person who wants to help them.
The people who respond to this first email will almost definitely open your second. What will separate you from the other work from home wannabes, is you don't stop after the first bit of high quality, low priced information! Your emails will consistently offer great advice and no immediate hard sells. This is how relationships and list building is done.
Your list will get to the point they trust you and cannot wait for your next email! This is also where internet marketing becomes "fun"!
After this relationship is built, you can now start offering higher ticket sales. Who would you buy from, someone you have a relationship with, or a landing page you happened to stumble upon? The answer is obvious.
In closing, I recommend you begin your list building by offering quality content with low or no fee. Remember, to work from home and live like an internet marketing millionaire, you must first build your business on quality and trust!
