Today, gas prices are through the roof, ranging anywhere between $3.40/gallon to over $4.00/gallon! Back in the 90's, gas was about $1.00/gallon, give or take a few cents. Depending on what kind of car you have and how far you have to drive to work, you could be spending $60.00+ dollars on gas per week, just go get to work! If you work from home, you don't have to drive to get to work. You wake up and boom! You're already at your job.

2) Spend More Time With Your Family

When you work from home, you usually don't have a "time schedule" of when you HAVE to work. If you have kids and they are home for the day because schools out, you don't have to hire a babysitter (another way to save money!) and you can choose when to spend time with them. If you are working a 9-5 job, during that time you cannot spend any time with your kids. You have to work or your boss will come yell at you. When you are working from home, you won't have a boss in your face because you are your own boss! If your kids want you to go throw the football with them, you can! You can choose when to spend time and hang out with your family instead of being tied down.

3) Environment Friendly

You get to pick where you work! If you want to work outside by the pool, feel free! If you want to work in an office in your house, go right ahead! Want to sit in front of the T.V. and watching your favorite show while working? Nobody's stopping you! When you work from home, you can pick wherever you want to work. You don't have a cubicle that you share with someone else and have to come to an agreement on what the background sound can be.

4) Control Your Own Income

This could be a pro or con of working from home, depending on how you look at it. You are not being paid $xx/hour working xx hours a week. If you are all in and dedicate yourself to your home business, you could double, even triple, your income from working a 9-5 job! If you don't dedicate yourself to your home business, then you will probably end up not making the same amount that you could working a 9-5. If you end up dedicating yourself to a home business, you could make as much money as you want! The sky is the limit.

5) You Can't Be Fired Unexpectedly

Working at a 9-5 job, there's always that worry in the back of your mind "Could I be fired today when I walk into work?" Working from home, you don't have that worry! It is your business, you ARE the boss. There's no thinking, "Oh, will my boss fire me today?" You can work at ease knowing, no matter how hard you work today, you will have the job tomorrow.
