Network Marketing: How To Earn Your First Dollar

The thought of making millions of dollars online and becoming rich in a short amount of time appeals to quite a few people, and can partly be explained by the surplus of people getting into the internet marketing and making money online game. In reality making money online is much more difficult than it is commonly made out to be, especially by the "gurus" who promise you thousands of dollars per day, all while attempting to peddle their latest product which has made THEM millions.

If you're one of the thousands of people who have struggled for weeks, months or even years attempting to earn money online, the struggle and fight can literally seem hopeless. For many people the breakthrough comes when they are finally able to earn their first dollar online...

Which is why I want to share with you a secret! Before I started making a full time income online I had used the web to supplement the different businesses and education I needed to succeed.

And here are a few things I decided to do, in order to keep my dreams of a successful home business afloat.

A popular way to make money online without any upfront investment is freelance work. This can be in the form of freelance writing, graphics design, programming or anything else you have expertise in. There are numerous websites on the internet that connect freelancers with their respective clients including ODesk, Elance and Freelancer.com.

Many people have turned their part-time side job of programming, writing or graphics design into a full-time job where they can work from home and earn just as much money as a "real" job.

Another way to earn your first dollar online is to complete online surveys or GPT programs. There are many different websites on the internet that allow you to complete surveys or offers and get paid. Some of these websites pay daily, while others pay weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Don't expect to get rich from completing GPT offers - most people earn about $100 per month, which is still better than nothing.

If the first two options don't sound appealing, you can always resort to selling your unused items on eBay or Craigslist. Search through your garage, attic or basement and look for items that you never use, but might have some value. You can easily earn up to $1000 just by liquidating the stuff you never use anymore.
